In 2007, the Diocese of Owensboro promulgated a Pandemic Flu Policy. This policy should be reviewed regularly during this period of H1N1 influenza outbreak.

Recently, the USCCB Committee on Divine Worship issued two documents in reference to the H1N1 virus.

• A collection of ten questions and answers
• Liturgical guidelines that would be implemented should the need arise.

Fr. Mike Clark, Diocesan Administrator, states that these two documents issued by the USCCB are not presently being enforced in the diocese, but will be should the situation warrant such actions.
